MISS SHE COMPETITION
The "Miss She" Competition was to find the "best-dressed lady,"
and was as competitive, if not more so, than the "Holiday Princess" competition.

MISS ELEGANCE COMPETITION
The "Miss Elegance" Competition varied only slightly from the "Miss She" Competition,
in that the entrants also scored points for their personality, rather than purely for their outfit.

MISS CHE-CHE COMPETITION
Today you would have to describe this Competition as being a personality competition for the "larger lady."
Back in 1973, however, we were out to prove that "Fat Ladies are Fun" -
with the title "Miss CheChe" standing for: "Chubby, Charming and Cheerful."

BUTLINS SKEGNESS MISS CHI CHI

Three typical winners of the "Miss CheChe" competition; three ladies who were on the large size,
but dressed nicely, and  weren't afraid to have a bit of fun. Tell that to the "PC brigade."

No that isn't the "Holiday Princess" winner, officiating at Friday afternoon's Prize-Giving
(she's the one on the left). The lady with me was actually the winner of that week's
"Miss CheChe" Competition, who decided to treat us to one more look at her fabulous body.
I still haven't fully recovered!
